Teachings that endure

Mom taught my siblings and I a song when we were very young.  I still remember the words today and their meaning is more profound as I growing older.

These are the words I remember. Sorry, but I don't the author:

"I see God in everything,
On the land and deep blue sea.
In the fields, the meadows and the pastures green.
In the stars that twinkle at night;
That big yellow moon;
They all remind me of the gifts of God."

My consciousness is one with Consciousness, referred to as God. This form, referred to as me, is the house of God.  My feelings perceive God's gifts. My perceptions etch in my mind the experience of God's creations.  God allows free will to chose actions in this individualized expression of God. My actions reflect my relationship with God. My action have consequences that I cannot escape. My actions are all that I own.  My actions influences this individualized consciousness's absorption into Self.

My choices have not always been Godly.
I seek to forgive myself for those actions. I ask forgiveness of others for my unkind actions.
I seek always to chose actions that reflect God's love.
