I received my annual statement for my Social Security benefits today. Of course the SSA is encouraging us all to retire later,working as long as possible. For those of you not close to that age this may be a surprise, but older workers are not part of most companies' plan for the future; so this objective could be hard to reach for most of us nearing the end of our journey.
Here I am in my tattered jeans, without a paying job, again dreaming, of the many problems that could be solved if I were a "millionaire". I started paying taxes in 1966. As I was browsing my statement I became curious about my total earnings. When I finished the tally, I discovered my dream had come true. Not quiet what I expected!
