Finally, there are no clouds hiding the rays of the sun. My first thought was that the sun is shining; but isn't it always? Some days I observe and think the sun has gone, but actually, it is still present, only hidden from my view by water vapor, or even the position of the planet as it rotates. Life, as I see it, is so interesting!
The picture above represents one of my passions, watching birds. My grandfather instilled in me a love of birds. My friend Abha has challenged me to perform a controlled experiment in my feeding practices. I currently have 6 feeders around the house and I put out about 25 pounds of seeds a week in the winter. The experiment will be to observe the feeding patterns with different types grains and seeds. Abha will be giving me more detailed instructions tomorrow when we have our first planning session. Should be interesting. I put brown rice in one feeder today and lentils in another. The rest of the feeders I filled with traditional seed mixture. So far the birds are ignoring the change.
