My Tool Bag

The Eight Point Program for Spiritual living has been my anchor for nearly 20 years. Developed by Eknath Easwaran in the 60's, it is a process centered in Passage Meditation and the disciplines necessary for a spiritually fulfilling lifestyle. The process of using meditation in conjunction with these associated disciplines improves the opportunity for skills to evolve enhancing ones ability to effectively experience NOW. Check the web site www.easwaran.org for further information.
I can testify to the effectiveness of this process. These eight points enhance the experience of NOW by providing tools useful in managing thoughts, controlling the senses and the ego, and improving relationships. It is a tool bag for life management. When I am analyzing personal experiences I reference these eight points for understanding and growth. I am not walking on water yet but I am not drowning either.
